Nah man I just beat part 1 and the demo was acolyte only...and I got to the end of the demo my first try without dying so when I got the game I started on warrior.
Im at the beginning of stage threee but I think I want to redo the middle of stage 2 to do the valor test and get the rod.

In the second chapter when you are going up the steps to get to the burning building there is a part where the ninja's keep coming at you and it seems like they wont stop... thats the part where if you stay and beat all of them you will get the rod and some health items after you beat them all.

yeah I just found out that if you DONT get the rod at that part in the second chapter then you wont have access to ANY tests of valor through out the rest of the game. After each test you get items like health extensions etc. I passed that part but im going to redo it. Luckily I set it to manual save so I have a few save slots around that part.
I fucked up and left it on autosave, FUCK.
I just redid it about an hour ago. You get the rod for the valor tests right in that big open area outside the building where you get the falcon talon wolverine claw things. I breezed through it the second time. It was all much easier and wasnt a bitch like I thought it would be.

yeah man. Im at the beginning of level 6 now. The test of valor on level 5 drove me crazy until i figured out that you can shoot arrows in the air.
Those warewolves on 5 are sick. I tripped out the first time one of them picked up an arm I chopped off and threw it at me. LOL They throw body parts that are on the floor at you if you are far away.

Downloaded the demo this morning but didn't think much of it. Won't be buying it. I think my little cousin is though so i'll just borrow his.

The game just feels too repetitive, i prefer the first one because there was more platforming to it which i like.

lol. well I used the dragon sword leveled up if possible...lots of fire art magic when I think he is going to thrash me.
save the lives of a thousand gods for the boss battles because it give you full life.
edit: also use the wind dodge alot. dodge and hit him. wait until after he does his combo then hit him. blocking is a must too.

Theres so much shit in the game. I keep learning new moves and shit. Like the other day I figured out that when you charge charge and absorb a yellow essence (when it hits you) it jumps you to a level 1 (blue glow) ultimate technique and if you absorb 2 of them (or a big yellow one) it makes puts you at level 2 (red) ultimate technique.
My combos are crazy now because as soon as I finish one ultimate combo I hit charge and when an orb hits me I let go on their bitch asses again. LOL I did that shit on the skull hill on level six and got the 100 hit achievement. I should have ninja cinema'd that shit!
Also theres a way to throw people and rush/charge them. Shits funky.
I dont know what the skulls do yet though.

man, im stuck in the second chapter, after i beat the boss or wutever, im tryin to find where to go, i kill everyone and theres a save point, and apparently some dude is supposed to fall thru the ceiling (gamefaqs), but it never happens, now im stuck, and i tried possibly everysingle thing, is my game fucked up? or am i missing something completely??
I dont think your at the boss of that level yet because once you beat Genshin (the boss of chapter 2) the chapter is over. You might be at the part where you get the stones to open the door to the roof.

I was going to buy this the other week along with Ninja Gaiden Sigma for PS3 but then i realised that i prefer the platforming of the first one more than i do the constant fights of the second.
I'm going to get this, first the PS3 verison, then this one.

Rented the game and beat it on normal. The tonfas were the wackest weapon to me. And some villains were plain ridiculus.
