After a conversation with a friend over the phone a few days go about how the only thing worth checking into for the Wii this season is Tatsunoko vs Capcom I decided to get the game and since I do not have a Japanese Wii I had to hack it to get it to run. I had not turned on my Wii in months and the thought of bricking it honestly did not concern me that much especially considering the shiny PS3 and Xbox 360 sitting right next to it.
After installing the Homebrew channel i was wowed at how detailed and efficient the homebrew software works. I was also surprised to find out that there are evil homebrew apps out there that can play burned backup wii games on DVD-R discs with this hack installed. I don't think this will be a problem for Nintendo because its not something that's super easy to do especially after the last few Wii Menu updates.
In any case here are some pics of the hack and homebrew channel.

One copy of Twilight Princess, an SD card and some files and 10 minutes later I had this new channel in my Wii menu.

Inside the Homebrew channel the apps on your SD card are displayed.

The Homebrew Browser is packed in with the Homebrew Channel install and allows you to select and install apps on the fly over the internet straight to your Wii.

My main goal was to play Tatsunoko vs Capcom region free and was able to do it with region changer apps.
