Singularity Review

Singularity borrows heavily from Bioshock and that’s is one of the reasons I liked it so much. From audio recordings scattered all over the levels, to ADAM which in Singularity is a little thing called E99 (more on that later), upgradable weapons, different perks to improve your character, and having powers in one hand and a gun in the other. Even the beginning of the game bears similaritie... more. -
KontrolFreek FPS Freek Review

Does this accessory really help to improve performance on FPS games? That is the very question that led me to order a set. FPS Freek is an attachment that snaps on top of your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 sixaxis controller. The premise is that these attachments increase analog stick height thus giving the player more leverage that translates into increased precision when playing first person sho... more. -

Just a little over a year after Street Fighter IV hit consoles Capcom is back with Super Street Fighter IV their final game in the Street Fighter IV series. The decision to announce that this game would be the final game in the IV series was an interesting move considering the long history of iterative sequels in the franchise. The Street Fighter III series had three iterations with New Genera... more. -

It is a sandbox third person shooter action game by Swedish developer Avalanche Studios and Eidos Interactive and published by Square Enix. Battlefield Bad Company 2 Review: The Superior Underdog

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is a first person shooter by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. The game is more tactical and thus slower paced than the Modern Warfare series. Battlefield Bad Company 2 has both single player and multiplayer modes though known most for its superb and robust multiplayer. The online multiplayer mode pits players in huge sandbox maps. The game uses DICE's F... more. -
God of War III Review: The Story Is Meh, But It’s Still Awesome

Don't get me wrong. The God of War III game itself is highly entertaining. The visuals are some of the best you will see in a high definition video game to date. The game has great graphics. Other than slight frame rate slowdowns the game is outstanding from a tech standpoint. There are spectacular lighting effects and detailed visuals. At times though Kratos does move a bit jerky. A good exam... more. -
Bioshock 2 Review

It’s no secret that I was a huge fan of the original Bioshock. The story and mystery surrounding the underwater dystopia of Rapture was one of the most intriguing and compelling to ever grace a videogame. I was understandably very excited when I heard they announced a sequel but not too happy that development of the game would be split between a bunch of different studios. However when scree... more. -
REVIEW: UNCHARTED 2 PlayStation Heroes Skin Pack

Naughty Dog has just released the PlayStation Heroes Skin Pack for Uncharted 2. A fan of all things Uncharted 2 I dove right in and purchased the skin set. After playing a large set of multiplayer matches with all the skins I must say I am pretty torn as to whether the $4.99 skin pack is worth it. First off I must say that I am huge fan of Naughty Dog. Not only did they produce my favorite gam... more.
