Bioshock 2 Review

It’s no secret that I was a huge fan of the original Bioshock. The story and mystery surrounding the underwater dystopia of Rapture was one of the most intriguing and compelling to ever grace a videogame. I was understandably very excited when I heard they announced a sequel but not too happy that development of the game would be split between a bunch of different studios. However when scree... more. -
REVIEW: UNCHARTED 2 PlayStation Heroes Skin Pack

Naughty Dog has just released the PlayStation Heroes Skin Pack for Uncharted 2. A fan of all things Uncharted 2 I dove right in and purchased the skin set. After playing a large set of multiplayer matches with all the skins I must say I am pretty torn as to whether the $4.99 skin pack is worth it. First off I must say that I am huge fan of Naughty Dog. Not only did they produce my favorite gam... more. -
Bayonetta Review: Take on the Fantasy and Sexuality

After playing through Bayonetta I must say that the game is enjoyable and lives up to the hype and not just because the main character is a scantily dressed MILF type. Actually for me its refreshing to play a game that makes no excuses for being a game. Bayonetta reminds you at every turn that your playing a video game. The "Angel Attack" mini game, the practice session during the loading ... more. -
REVIEW: Logitech Driving Force GT Wheel

So here's the back story. Back in the days I was a HUGE Outrun fan. Other than Street Fighter II and most likely before Street Fighter II I would pump as many quarters as I could scrounge up, or beg to get into Outrun machines. The shaking steering wheel on the stand up or seated cabinet was among my favorites. Later on around 1995-1996 I was addicted to Ridge Racer and then Ridge Racer Revo... more. -
Ninja Assassin Movie Review

For those 80's babies, or rather those that were fortunate enough to have a chance to see those classic Ninja movies such as Enter the Ninja your in luck. Ninja Assassin is a throwback to those movies. Bear in mind that in retrospect those 1980's Ninja movies are almost laughable by today's standards in terms of fighting choreography and special effects. In any case Ninjas are bad ass and this... more. -
WET Review

WET is a third person action shooter. You play as Rubi a mercenary for hire. Her first job is to rescue the son of a crime lord. The game pays homage to the B-List movies of the 70s nd actually game itself looks like a movie. During this movie small black spots appear on the screen just like it the drive-ins of back then and also many Drive-in commercials from the 70s are played during the gam... more. -
New Super Mario Bros. Wii Review
0 CommentsPosted by Fallback on 11/18/2009 under Features, Reviews, Wii
New Super Mario Bros Wii is a 2D side scrolling platforming game. It's a return to the roots and truly a gumbo of everything 2D Mario in many ways. The game's namesake is similar to the DS game that was released a few years ago but this Wii version is better in just about every way. Do not let the slightly generic name fool you. New Super mario Bros. Wii is a very fun game with style. The ... more. -

Since this is a huge game we have two separate reviews. Uncharted 2 Review by Fallback Uncharted 2 Among Thieves is an action adventure shooter developed by Naughty Dog. For those unfamiliar just think Tomb Raider meets Indiana Jones. In Uncharted 2 You play as Nathan Drake, a treasure hunter on the search for Marco Polo's lost treasure. For the most part you will be either engaged in... more. -
Demon’s Souls Impressions
0 CommentsPosted by Jim Lahey on under Features, News, PS3, Reviews
Demon's Souls is an RPG and the first thing you do is set up your character. Your standard options like genre, class, facial details. You start off with a Tutorial that shows you the basic things you will need to know in the game. Mainly it just includes combat, as well as defense and using items. To start off I have to say this is possibly the hardest game out there at the moment. Demon... more. -
NBA 2K10 Review

Every year companies like EA and 2K Sports unleash a barrage of new sports games upon the world with just enough upgrades to keep die hard fans coming back for more and to attract a few noobs here and there. I myself am no exception to the rule. I own Madden ‘95, ’98, ‘06, ‘09, and ‘10 but the truth of the matter is I haven’t bought a basketball game since NBA Shoot Out (1996). This ... more.
