The Dark Knight movie is all over the news due to its blockbuster record setting sales this past weekend. It just hit me again that there is no video game for this new Batman movie. I think its a great thing too. Many if not most of us are tired of all these rushed movie games. Just in the last few months we got a half-assed Iron Man and Hulk game. I think more movies should go without what has become the standard shovelware movie game.
I think less movie games would be better in that the games for these property's (Spiderman, Hulk etc.) may just get the right amount of time (without the rush to be out when the movie hits theaters) to allow for development of a GOOD game worthy of the IP. The Spiderman Web of Shadows game seems to be a good step. It is a movie-less Spiderman game already looks better than every movie related Spiderman game to date.

So yeah the Dark Knight Movie sold $155.34 million in its first weekend, topping the $151.1 million for "Spider-Man 3" in May 2007. I saw the Batman Dark Knight movie in IMAX this past weekend and it's the best comic book movie I have ever seen. Better than any Spiderman movie ever, and yes even better than Ironman which was pretty damn good. If you can, go IMAX its totally worth it.
