One of the most highly regarded game series got an HD makeover of sorts a few months ago. Remastered in high-definition at a resolution of 720p and including anti-aliased graphics for 60 frames per second gameplay the collection includes both PS2 God of War games on one bluray disc.
I am about at the end of the first God of War game now and I must say that the game is indeed one of the best action games I have ever played. Though frustrated by some things at the beginning the game totally clicked with me a few hours in. The combat totally hold up extremely well even surpassing most new games in terms of fun factor.
The game itself looks great remastered. I totally forget while playing it at times that its a old game and I have been playing it on a 46" LCD display. The bottom line is that if you have not played these games before I do reccoment picking this up. Its a great way to use one of those holiday gift cards you may have received.
