Well Sony lived up to their promise at this years E3 when they said that Playstation Home will be released this year. According to a press release today, Sony will be releasing a fully open "beta" on November 11th. As you may have heard in our podcast a few weeks ago I am not super excited about home at all from what I ahve played this far. Lets hope a new update will provide more and improved functionality.

This new cryptic teaser for an upcoming metal gear something or other has fans of the series baffled. What could it be? Could it be xbox 360 related since its green? Twin Snakes related? Who knows!?!

According to the New York Times, Ziff Davis CEO Jason Young contends that EGM may soon go the way of the old typewriter, and by that I mean that the print publication known as EGM may be replaced by its all digital counterpart 1up.com. This news makes the current EGM cover almost prophetic. The article states that Ziff Davis is considering taking EGM online only (via 1up.com) but that no decision would be made before the end of the year.
