Over the years, we have seen Cid take on many different forms. We have seen Cid playing the role as a young pipe smoking engineer and as cranky old engineer with a ridiculous beard. Now, look at this new look.
Square Enix has named Final Fantasy XIII’s Cid as Cid Raines. It looks like Cid just came from Bath and Body works and used a ton of Oil of Olay to get this role. Cid is a member of an army that has nothing to do with the PSICOM regime from what I can tell. It appears to me that he might be a playable character, do to the fact that he is holding a sword in the screen shot. Let's just hope he will be a playable character that is decent.
Final Fantasy XIII is due to be released in Japan for the PS3 very soon and North America will see a release on March 9, 2010 on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
