I figured I would wrap up all the legal related stories on one tight neat post. Capcom recently won their
case against the Producer of George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead who sued Capcom claiming that Dead Rising ripped the Dawn of the Dead film. I guess this is likely to mean that we will see the rumored Dead Rising 2 in the future at some point.
Sony recently lost a
patent lawsuit to Agere Systems over "wireless local area network apparatus" technology in PSP handhelds. Sony will have to cough up $18.5 million.
Activision dodged a
costly bullet by changing the box art of their new Baja game. Activision was being sued by THQ because of striking similarities in the box arts of their Baja games.

E3 2009 will officially be returning to the Los Angeles Convention Center and will no longer be invite only as it was last year. Though next years E3 won't be open to the public it will be open to all video game industry audiences ranging from the media, to developers, to analysts, and retailers, so if you're working at
Game Stop maybe you can convince your boss into giving you some days off. E3 is scheduled to take place June 2-4 and is gearing up to be the biggest North American gaming show of the year.

This has got to be any developers nightmare. You finally think you have wrapped up and are ready for what looks to be a great launch and then you get the influx of drama. So yeah, Murphy and his
stupid law has reared his ugly head yet again. Apparently some lyrics in the games soundtrack make references to the Qu'ran. It looks like Little Big Planet will now be released some time in November. Sony will announce the new release date next week.
